Tom Echo is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from the South Coast of NSW. Drawing on diverse influences like Foo Fighters, Tame Impala, Anderson .Paak, and Frank Ocean, Tom released his debut single, Smile, on July 3rd. The song, produced by Max Ramirez, draws on pop and rock influences (with a helping of psychedelic pop) resulting in Tom’s unique sound. Inspired by Dave Grohl’s post-Nirvana home recording, and without the means to book out a studio, Tom wrote and recorded Smile himself. He mastered the use of production tools and, with the assistance of Max, was able to achieve a studio-quality result from the comfort of his own bedroom. 
 For the last few years Tom has been playing live music in venues across NSW (and a few sneaky impromptu gigs in Japan). Iso presented an opportunity for the creation of new music and Smile is just the first peak at his ever-expanding catalogue.
