Tom Lilley is a young musician, who despite his younger age, has been playing and creating music for longer than most adults twice his age. Tom Lilley began his music career in early 2020 under his monicker, ‘Tiny Teddy Tom’, where he released a serious of hip-hop fusion tracks onto Soundcloud. Having found minor success in the hip-hop industry, Tom continued to pursue his main goal of releasing music under his own name.
Fast forward to late 2021, Tom has successfully released his debut single under his own name, with a sophomore effort only around the corner.
Tom’s music style is evocative of his influences which include Rex Orange County, Mac Miller, Wallows and Peach Fur, but manages to remain in a genre of its own. Tom defines his own music as a mollycoddle of Romantic music and Synth pop with touches of Australian surf-rock and Jazz in the mix. Tom uses his music to express issues relating to his depression and the general complications of teenager-dom in Australia.
