Hailing from the sheep farming western district of Country Victoria Tom’s life changed dramatically when his family were forced to uproot 3 generations of farming to move interstate. Sent to school in Melbourne, before travelling the world to find his true home again, Tom’s story is a returning to his heartland. Not through place but through his music. Now based in southern Queensland Tom has finally settled in one place after years of Nomadic living as a restless soul. His heartfelt stories about his life now as a step father and the challenges & victories of creating harmony in blended family situations, along with his tails of travel, make him one of Australia’s most compelling storytellers. Tom’s new music marks a powerful new era; uniquely fusing the didgeridoo with Coastal Country, Tom has crafted a sound that feels like the Australian landscape itself! His new song Larrakia Sunset about life in the Northern Territory and failed Tinder story during the pandemic drops May 20.
