At 18 years old moved to Sydney from small NSW country town chasing music dream. Self taught I began busking and writing songs. Life got in the way & guitar went under bed along with music dreams as I lived the “normal Life” kids mortgage career. In 2019 at age 50 we almost lost everything as our town on the NSW south coast was cut off from the world by catastrophic bushfires. After being evacuated several times we stayed and were lucky but many of our friends were not so lucky. We decided life too short and out of our control so we put house on market found a place we could afford without a big mortgage so could pursue long lost music dreams. South Australia we found affordable home. Never been to SA but brought off internet & moved to SA started chasing music dream of yesterday! Went to country music academy weekend and now have 10 time golden guitar winner Lyn Bowtell as my singing coach/mentor. I released my debut single “The Long Drive Home” at age 53 in March this year.
