Tom River is an Australian folk artist and producer from Margaret River, Western Australia — one half of internationally touring duo Salt Tree. Where Salt Tree roams, his solo project stays close: intimate storytelling built on delicate acoustic work, airy harmonies, and subtle pop melodies that carry the weight of years spent performing across Europe and Australia. It's music made for quiet rooms and long drives, unhurried and unguarded. His latest single, “Missing You”, explores the emotional disconnect of life on the road. It moves through cities, venues, and hotel rooms while feeling detached from the things that ground you: nature, quiet, and space. Living in remote Margaret River, surrounded by ocean and forest, has shaped both Tom’s life and sound, so touring often feels like a trade-off between momentum and meaning. Releasing new music monthly throughout 2026 and fresh from a 10-date European tour, Tom River is one of Australia's most compelling emerging voices. This July, he joins South African roots phenom Jeremy Loops on tour across Australia and New Zealand before heading back to Europe and the UK, supporting FINOJET this October.
