Meanjin/Brisbane petalcore outfit Torizon fuses heavy metalcore elements with pop hooks and prog flourishes. Unafraid to explore the full spectrum of human emotion, downtuned riffs, propulsive rhythms and vibrant synth arrangements weave the group's immersive, modern soundscapes. Cascading melodies shapeshift from raw vulnerability, fierce intensity to cathartic screams, courtesy of dual vocalists. 2025 saw Torizon release their conceptual EP 'Meliora', diving into the challenges of infertility, earning support from Music Feeds, The Music, Apple Music, Backseat Mafia, Ramona Magazine, triple j, Unearthed and major community radio stations. Single ‘Bloom’ also landed Torizon as a 2026 Heavy finalist at Queensland Music Awards. Following the EP's release, the band embarked on a successful headline tour, wrapping up with a packed hometown show. Torizon have also performed alongside Circles, Valhalore, The Last Martyr, Days Like These, These Four Walls, NTH RD, AM//PM & Last Words.
