Formed as an answer to the faux pas of .love.massacre (played on FBI's newweirdaustralia) after the tragedy of love parade 2010. trashpanda started in September 2010 with the release of the single 'newsound10' a short selection of tracks from the 'amyl' LP by .love.massacre (one of 7 previously unreleased EPs and Singles + 2 LPs spanning 2008-early 2010) under the new band title; then followed in October with the release of a full length selection of demos from the process recordings of 'habit' (due early 2011) and 'texas hold 'em; down' (no release date set); entitled 'deathcoast - and other demos' (available on bandcamp, itunes and other digital music retailers). trashpanda is currently recording for these releases; as of yet no touring has been planned. right now trashpanda's sound is evolved from a pop composition style using low key assiduous dance beats and 8-bit/tropical combination melodies infused with darker industrial flourishes and gothic nuances. trashpanda currently
