Born in Sydney, Travis Willis had violin lessons since he was 6 until he was 15. He always played the violin like a guitar, the little tyke. So he picked up the guitar at 16 and taught himself chords from a book. He has been songwriting ever since, and recently lived and busked in Byron Bay for 2 months.
