While listening to the music of Trio.Berlin first you could think of a contemporary chamber music ensemble. But it is special and dfifferent, most of the music which is strongly influenced by composers like Olivier Messiaen especially his „Quatuor pour la fin du temps“ and the „Klangästhetik“ of Alban Berg and Sergey Prokofiev is improvised, The Trio labels the music as "Improvised Chamber music"
