Tripping Cognito is a talented, four-piece band from the Blue Mountains West of Sydney, writing and playing music comprising beautiful melodies, superb harmonies and soaring guitar solos. The driving rhythm section consisting of Cameron “Hoppy” Hopcroft on Bass and Cameron Browning on Drums, provides a solid foundation for stellar guitar work and keyboard prowess of Tom Wells and sublime vocals from Brody Jarrett. As multi-instrumentalists, the sound does not just stop with a guitar-led music but extends to keyboard lead and accompaniment. Song writing is a key strength of the band and has established some strong favourites in live performances such as “Trust Me”, where Brody can really show off his outstanding voice. Whilst the band performs extraordinary renditions of rock classics, it is their own compositions where the band excels. Brody and Tom started playing together in the two-piece ”Revolution Blue” and entertaining locals at Blue Mountains bars and restaurants. This
