If you just happened to be walking along the bank of Mountain River at the dawn of this century, you may have stumbled across three motley looking folk musically doodling to them selves in a backyard. This was the very beginnings of what would soon become the oddball, bungling adventures of a band called Trouser. This eclectic pudding of sound consisted of sub tones and yodels brought by Theophilus Bollard, hits and mumbles by Stan Cheese and Bobo Wang delivering the noise. Later, they were joined by Double Dilma assisting with pummels and dings. When they had conquered Mountain River, they conquered Hobart and have now thrice conquered areas of Melbourne. They have mingled on stages with the likes of The Brown Hornet and where much acclaimed by that guitarist guy from Frenzal Rhomb when watching. Two EPs, free pappadams, give away CDs and much musical larrikinism later, Trouser are looking forward to the next instalment of weirdness. But will it be a funk/chunk opera, a hip-hop
