Edit history

Try The Fish is a Melbourne-based outfit playing a mix of styles, mainly funk and latin inspired grooves with a hint of jazz. Our gigs centre around tunes which are pure dance floor feed with a feel from the early breaks of the 70s. Live styles incorporate Drum n Bass, Acid Jazz and more. Listen for this at our gigs. Some James Brown style vocals and crowd shoutbacks set the scene for madness. We formed back in 2004 and played our way from gigs in St Kilda to the laid-back vibe of Brunswick St, Fitzroy. (Apologies to the interstaters - come down and check it out). We've just produced our EP - From The Deep Down. It can be bought on the website, where you can also check out the grooves and upcoming gigs.
