The Ghettoblast are from Kings X, notorious red light underworld of Sydney, Australia. TS Williams writes the songs and sings them, usually playing a telecaster that looks like it was rescued from the flames of Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s Black Ark. He is the author of a novel, Ticklish. The Ghettoblast are a functionally dysfunctional family of musicians that bring post-everything rock’n’soul shows / parties to the world and produce living recorded artefacts. They are informed & inspired by all good music. They are influenced by everything and nothing. They are concerned with art, heart, literature & ideas, spirit, style, vision, beauty, excitement, houserockin’, booty shakin’, human rights, and the good fight.
