Turbines to Speed formed in Melbourne, Australia mid 2004. Simon (drums,Invercargill NZ) and Ben (Guitar, Vocals,Born & Bred Melbourne boy) jammed together for 6 months before Kyle (Bass, Auckland NZ) came along to form the hard rocking 3 Piece. Turbines keep going from strength to strength with coming runners up in the Mel Fresh battle of the bands. We have done a number of great supports with bands including Spider Bait, The Spazzy's, 28 days and The Androids
