Turbul3nce spawned in the musical womb of Newcastle, Australia as a side project to rising upstarts Almost Allies. Soon after, Turbul3nce took a lead role when front man Pete stepped in to lead the band. Lifting a page from rock icon Dave Grohl’s book, Pete took charge of the creative process and recorded every instrument and vocal on Turbul3nce’s debut release All or Nothing (2009), in much the same way Grohl did with the 1995 debut Foo Fighters. Combining a raw and edgy modern rock sound with an indie attitude, Turbul3nce create a maelstrom of aural force. The tracks on All or Nothing showcase a band with direction and willingness to steer clear of cliché, combining both intricate melodic and pulsating rhythmic lines. Turbul3nce are headed for greater things in the not too distant future. Keep an eye out for Turbul3nce in coming months, bringing rock to eardrums near you
