Turn South are an Indie-Punk band from Naarm, Australia. Informed heavily by their DIY ethos and blistering live performances the three-piece have toured extensively, playing alongside Mom Jean (USA) and Tiny Moving Parts (USA), as well as esteemed Australian artists including Slowly Slowly, Trophy Eyes, Ceres, Press Club, WAAX and Between You and Me. The trio is typified by frenetic drums and driven, glistening guitar tones. Sonically, the band breathes a reinvigorated tenacity into elements of 90’s alternative and slacker rock. Alluding to elements of emotive and politically charged punk, Turn South explore a sense of broader societal and political discontent. Just over a year since the release of their EP "Something That Connects Us", Turn South have just released their fourth EP "I Believe in You", following their single "Techbrotopia".
