Studio project Tusk Tusk is a vibrant exposition of sound and melody. The project features raw, stirring vocals, poignant narrative expression and a layered multi instrumentalist resonance that makes mirth out of melancholy. Brisbane born composer/producer Dominic Vincent Fagan began a making music at 21, with the release of “Dante”, a celebrated single full of sampled beats and dark atmospherics belonging to the former trip hop/electronica collaborative Fagan. Fagan outfit’s debut album, “Shipping Secrets”, was released in 2005 and a national tour ensued. In 2007, whilst working in a sugar factory and playing keys for Screamfeeder front man Tim Steward’s solo project, Dominic began writing again after a three year break. In August of that year he headed south for the nation’s cultural capital, and is now based in a crumbling, yet delightful, terrace in the heart of Melbourne and the home of Tusk Tusk.
