Two Dark Eyes are pushing electronica into new and exciting territory, not afraid to get hold of a loop and drive it into the ground, vocalist Lex Robertson’s moody charisma holds centre stage as loops and psychedelic intensity swirl around him. Robertson’s deep soulful voice and keys are supported by guitarist Phil Stallard’s loops and guitar atmospheres, rhythm section Deb Shaw and Dan Pringle drive the whole thing along, the music is mesmerizing and new, art rock is not dead! The band is an eclectic bunch, Stallard a visual artist, Robertson a sound artist, Shaw a writer and filmmaker, Pringle the literary poet make this band an amazing experiment..its art, its intense, its also moving, electronic and down to earth.
