In 1992 Gary and Greg Tyer formed a new project: a rock band called Dirty Skirt. Bay area producer Peter Miller of 20-20 saw the live shows and said, “I’ve found real rock and roll again.” After 18 years in San Francisco, Gary and his wife Amy relocated to Austin, TX. In 2013, the Tyer brothers reunited to begin another chapter:Tyer. Shackled in Chains is the album the band has put together.
