Edit history

Steven and Daniel J. began jamming and forming rough ideas for compositions throughout 2010 with the idea of a band in mind. The genres that began to form consisted of elements of Rap, Alternative Rock and Hard Rock which created a distinct sound. It was later that year after various riffs for 'Gotta Get Out' had been created that the search for a guitarist began. This search led them to Jesse Murray. This further expanded the genre of their music and completed the line-up of the three-piece band. After recording their first single (Gotta Get Out) at the end of 2010 and the release of their EP (not afraid)in January 2012, U.S of OZ have been taking the many opportunities offered to them to perform live seriously and were finalists in Rebel FM's Stepping Stone competition.
