Ultra Material’s sound is timeless. Elements of dream pop, shoegaze and indie rock all converge into something ineffably powerful, lovely and mysterious. Over the past few years, Ultra Material have been honing their live sound, playing sets that pulse with their trademark all-encompassing energy. This is a band that demands full attention, and rewards it with dense layers of beauty. Two couples on a double date, making music together. Ultra Material released their first album Double Date in 2016 and their second album Cosmic Anti Stuff in 2018, both through Black Wire Records.
