In 2008 Under Citys Lights Began as a cover band around south east qld in an attempt to fund something much bigger. By 2009 Under City Lights changed shape and looked to build its repertoire and fan base playing many successfull original shows locally. In 2010 Under City Lights spent a yeay perfecting their sound and style working endlessly on new material and an original energy, sound and image. Inspired by eighties rock, pop and electronic, Under City Lights use every facet of their musical abilities to construct songs that are as deeply emotive as they are appealing. A combination of vintage synth electronica and post punk modern rock, their sound is unmistakable. Once you listen carefully to Under City Lights, you will be captured by their emotion and energy. Their Debut EP " Neon Fantasy" is set for release in march 2011 and the band look to spread thier music worldwide.
