“Under Islands” is the solo electronic project of Josh Marx. He incorporates sounds captured from the outside world as well as traditional acoustic and electronic instruments processed and manipulated in the computer. Josh began creating music as an outlet from a young age. He learned piano and guitar and very soon was writing songs and learning other instruments as a way of getting his ideas down and developing his musicianship. In his early 20’s, Josh has turned to electronic music as a way to develop and express his own sound as an artist and let his influences naturally shine through. His deubt EP was written, produced and mixed by Josh in his home studio and mastered by Zino Mikorey (Thom Yorke, Nils Frahm, Olafur Aranalds, Rival Consoles)
