bio Under The Influence band members include Jason Spurr, Andy Hall, Jamie Marsh, Johnny Stonebridge and matt baker. We are a 5-piece Rock Band from Barnsley. With many gigs now under our belt, we are moving up the musical ladder and have some exciting plans for the future. We have just headlined o2 2 sheffield academy and Our highly anticipated EP, "Rumbling of a Giant" has been released. We released our first single "Shake it" earlier this year and since being made available to the masses it has gained local airtime on Dearne FM and online stations such as Audio Graffiti radio, Rocker’s Dive Radio, egh radio and real radio xs. Our second single, the power ballad "Moments in Life", shortly followed. We are continuing to work on more of our songs as well as classic covers that the fans love. We are also working hard to perform at more venues so that you our fans can see more of us including our tour of oz and new zealand in january 2016

Under The Influence (U.T.I) are a three-piece metal band based in Perth, Western Australia (WA). Combining elements of metal, along with dissonant harmony and displaced grooves, U.T.I’s sound is distinct and unique. Drawing on influences from many genres outside metal, including jazz-fusion and blues. On the national scale, “II” has received airplay on Triple J’s “Full Metal Racket”, and many other metal radio programs around the country. U.T.I have also featured in Australian Guitar Magazine on numerous occasions, (which has a national readership of 75,000), receiving rave reviews. U.T.I first entered the studio early January 2006 to record their first body of work, titled U.T.I “I”. Thirteen tracks were cut at Underground Studios, Perth, WA. The album was independently released in WA, March 06. The release was followed by a string of WA shows, establishing U.T.I’s place in the WA music scene and reputation as a band of formidable musicians. Not the sort of band to rest on past

Under the influence, is a three piece punk band established in Wollongong around 1998. With influences such as , MYC, Pennywise and H- block 101, they are a high energy, fast paced punk band with a drummer / singer , just to make things interesting! U.T.I just recently self recorded another 8 song ep. Total D.I.Y all the way!!

Conceived in high school around '98 and inspired by the sounds of Dead Kennedys/Circle Jerks/AFI style punk. 20+ years, hundreds of gigs, a bunch of Ep’s and 5 full length albums, UTI have slowly progressed to a crossover of punk/hardcore. With a tight electrifying live show, Under The Influence are not to be missed!!
