Universe Returns are a band from Queensland who produce and perform original folktronic songs. Liam and Dave are shape shifting away from an earlier industrial sound toward making radio friendly compositions with a wider appeal. Universe Returns recorded their latest single "Star Power" at Gasworks Studios as part of the Independent Music Project Indie 100 for 2014. This release follows a year of collaborations with other members of the Producer's Club including Michelle Xen, Ian Tully (Eigen Lights) and Ernie Tamandl. Their appearance at the Future Shorts Film Festival in August 2014 allowed Universe Returns to showcase original music and perform selected movie soundtracks live. artist info: genre: Folk, Electronic band members: Liam Buchanan, David Hethorn
