According to the lead vocalist and guitarist, Univorse are an independent Australian "Undead Rock Band" debuting with the song "Snake Eyes". According to Damien, "the Univorse band was a result of a failed fantasy horror feature film that I was working on. I decided it would be a waste not to do something with some of the characters and costumes that I had made for the film. I had already written "Snake Eyes" many years ago but never recorded a radio ready version. The characters and the song seemed like a perfect match."
