My style varies from minimal, punk, rock, some sort of nice music...well anything which I feel great actually. Upapipopapo came across Motown music when s/he was 3 years old. His/her aunt used to listen to Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Four Tops, etc, near him and often drove with her/him on the back seat, listening to this music. Marvin Gaye is still one of her/his favorite singers. "I love Marvin because he has such a beautiful voice but at the same time, I feel very deep sadness in his heart. This beautiful confusion has appealed to me ever since." Upapipopapo initially started taking photos to express her/himself, but soon realised her/his photos were always connected to music. "When I take photos, I'm always listening to music. The music seems to shape the kinds of things I will choose to photograph. One day, I really wanted certain sounds for my photos, and I thought "why don't I make them myself!" Upapipopapo music is very unique in its spontaneous style. Its tunes and codes
