Upon a Falling Empire are a 5 piece metal band from the Gold Coast, bringing an asylum of truth, to decimate the endurance of suffering. Led by the raw vocal styling of Ash Sharpe, their music is an aggressive fusion of metalcore, groove metal, and deathcore elements, bringing a diverse edge to their progressive sound. Their debut EP 'A War Between Worlds' released in Feb 2019, describes the insidious choices we make, in an attempt to survive our truth. "Reminds me of Darkest Hour having a child with All That Remains. While As I Lay Dying & Viatrophy birth their own child. Both of these cross-bred children then have a child together and that child is raised on a steady diet of The Light The Dark, Currents, The Ocean The Sky & Azlock. That child grew up to become Upon A Falling Empire" - B J Reegs Having gained a solid reputation gigging across SE QLD since 2016, UAFE are determined to emerge from the underground, and onto the heavy music scene in Australia. #uafemetal
