Formed in 2011, The young Tasmanian six-piece who use bright guitars, deep basslines and strong melodies to make what is best described as froth rock; a beautifully functional mess. 2014 has been a big year for the Tasmanian sextet. They released their second EP "Everything Looks Better" in Early June and have toured Tasmania and Victoria supporting their release. The response from the tour left Ursine on a high and they have since recorded their latest single "Seasick". "Seasick" is released on the 18th of September and will be followed by a tour of Tasmania and Victoria. Ursine's live shows are engaging, genuine and absolutely frothing. "Ursine Members Promote what other bands lack: Fun. It sounds cliché, but their sincere approach to playing is refreshing.” (Mark Acheson, Warp Magazine) "Everything Looks Better" // OUT NOW www.ursine101.bandcamp.com/album/everything-looks-better
