SOUL/POP Open Door is a debut release for one of Sydney’s most renowned vocal coaches, Vanessa Ellen. Dancing once for Katy Perry in Singapore, Vanessa also stars in the ‘Adele’ tribute show called ‘Someone Like Adele.’ This pop soul track is a soft release to introduce this exciting new artist to our airwaves and streaming platforms. It’s well and truly time that the world hears this voice. Vanessa has been compared to Céline Dion by Co producer, Bec Caruana (Booshu Records) “Ironically this is the first song I ever wrote, and I’ve always been inspired by gospel singers, and big vocals, so naturally wanted to show off a big sound. I was mad at a crush of mine, and wanted to send a clear message, so Open Door was born from my teen angst and foul mood. It hits harder as an adult, and has a much deeper meaning for me now, once you crossed me, it’s done, were done.” - Vanessa For Your Consideration OUT OCT 24
