Vellum consists of several former members of Sedetion, My Pet Shovel, Rough Draught and Ridgeback County, all Brisbane-based bands. The boys influences range from 80's pub rock to hip hop with detours to metal and modern punk in between. Vellum recorded an EP with MAV Productions of Arana Hills (where they catch up at least once a week to rehearse and talk shit) in late 2010 and have ever-so-slowly been releasing the songs.
