The Velocity Monks formed in 2005, they are 3 friends who attended Figtree high school together. That means they grew up and come from the big bad Gong or Wollongong if you will. Their names are Matt Calncy, Paul Davis and Declan Maloney. Matt has finished high school and Paul and Declan will this year. They have been playing around the local youth centres since 2005. Other such gigs have been Kembla Stock and a couple of skate comps. They're most recent recording was in 2007 and consists of 4 songs. They have just recently returned from a 5 month break as Matt left for New Zealand but now he's back,......... The boys are ready to bring crappy punk rock to your ears again and this time no one will escape....... Although you probably will if you run relatively fast.
