Velvet Engine, the brainchild of Latino Northamptonian San-D Godoy, emerged enthusiastically into our lives and our hearts at the start of 2008, touring the lower UK on and off throughout the year. After numerous positive reviews, tours and radio airplay, she moved to Australia and played more gigs expanding her fan base. She is now back in the UK touring and busy working on her long-awaited debut release. We can expect great things from this new breed of heart-warming pop folk music and Velvet Engine will be sure to drive it in the right direction with her catalogue of honest yet timid and catchy songs.
