Vennear began late 2006 when Tom (15) and Tim (16) wrote a song for a Year 10 music assessment. After having so much fun writing and producing the track they decided to take their music to the next level...creating a myspace. The next year saw the two boys write a huge amount of songs, ranging from up beat pop/rock tunes, to peaceful, relaxing acoustic chill music. Late 2007 the boys recorded their debut single 'Satisfaction' at Sydney's D2 Studios, engineered and produced by Andrew Macken. 'Take Me Out' is the first track of the single. Tom says: "The songs that I write are a way to express where I am in life, what I'm thinking. My lyrics are a reflection of what's going on in my head." At the moment the boys are pretty quiet as they are currently completing their HSC, but come next year they intend to hit the music scene hard and show their tunes to the world.
