Venus Fire frontwoman and mastermind Hayley Clare has collaborated with several of Melbourne’s greatest producers – John Castle, Steven Schram, Tom Spender and Jake Mason – to serve up a platter of sumptuous musical delicacies - debut EP "The Sound". From the title track’s heavy groove, via the sultry “Cigarette”, through the driving pop of “Ooh La La” and “Did You Lie” to and the contemplative closer “Self Portrait”, the tenderly curated tracks on this EP paint the unmistakeable picture of an innovative artist who knows her mind and her heart… not to mention her killer voice. "The Sound" EP available 25th January from venusfire.net. "Ooh La La" music video out 25th January.
