Hip Hop duo Verbal Tactics have been laying low for the past year, focussing their time, energy and inspiration into fine tuning their new album. With an expected release date later this year, today The Music premiered their first offering; What We Never Had (featuring Antixx of Sensible Antixx and Rhys Thompson of Saint Felix). The composition has the signature boom bap vibe Elefant Traks artist and producer Joelistics is renowned for, while the Mc’s elegantly portray a narrative of love lost. Since their last EP Start The Show, Verbal Tactics have crafted a maturity in their address. This is masterfully demonstrated by the sophistication of their linguistic word play and insightful honesty throughout. The track is a mere taste of just what these Melbourne mc’s promise to serve up to our local Hip Hop scene. VT have a whole lot planned this year, live shows throughout Melbourne and new singles on the way from their anticipated new album, don't touch your dial!
