VEREYA is a musical project from Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. After a lengthy break from the 'band' scene, ideas start flowing and new creations start taking shape. Ideas are let to to sit and develop, under no time pressure or obligation. Layer upon layer, arrangements are formed and melodies are sung. Lyrics are drawn internally, referencing feelings of love, heartbreak, wholeness and freedom. Consisting of a five piece line up of creatives, songs are pushed to their full potential creating a variety of music from expressive rock, to lush piano and string ballads. VEREYA's debut EP 'Fly Away' recorded at Four4ty Studios with Jarred Doueal was released in June 2018 to a full crowd at the Skylark Room in Upwey. The EP encompasses five tracks, carefully crafted with dense arrangements, epic choruses and big harmonies. Prior to this release was singles 'Run' and 'Fly away' which showcase some diversity of the groups potential. This is just the first stage for VEREYA, with more EP's
