I am a 16 yr old female. I write my own music and i have been singing and writing since I was about 13. I know it doesn't sound like a long time, but in this short time I have come very far. I am a self taught guitarist, though I began having lessons about 6 months ago, I also picked up singing lessons at about the same time. My parents are divorced and I don't speak to my dad. My mum hasn't remarried yet, but her partner is more of a father to me in the last 5 years than my own father has in my whole life. I want to make something of myself in the music industry, because it is an area in which I flourish, feel comfortable in, and it makes me happy. If I cant make it as an artist singing my own stuff, I want to write for other people. I am about to begin year 12 and after i finish, I will be going to a university to complete a bachelor of music in the area of composition. Though my university of choice is no longer an option, I am going to the next best in terms of reviews. I hope
