Villa Morta is forged from the heart of the Australian heavy music scene. Releasing their debut EP ‘Subvert’ in 2021, the band quickly made a name for themselves with their intense live shows and powerful sound. The members fascination with the mysteries of life is a major influence in their approach to writing music and vision of the band. This approach crossed with the vast range of influences from each member, creates a unique sound that draws from the roots of Metalcore along with modern characteristics. The band's initial offering entitled 'Subvert' explores these themes, asking people to question the paradigms that govern themselves and the world around us.
