Violent Green started to brew in the early months of 2007 before fermenting a solid line-up in August 2007 combining the members varied influences into an abrasive mix of speed and sludge with a new wave death metal feel. Playing shows with local heavyweights 'The Dead' and a slew of other local acts such as Happy Camper, Empyrean and People Die; Violent Green have now cemented themselves as one of Brisbane’s regular metal acts. Violent Green’s forthcoming EP aptly titled “Abyssus in Terra” will be released in Early 2009.
