Violette crashed onto the Melbourne scene in April 2005. This formidable force started creative life at Midian where they crafted their unique sound. The style is Rock infused pop with elements of grunge. Influenced by bands such as the Divynils, Magic Dirt & Veruca Salt, tunes range from heavier rock jams to toe tapping grooves. The band is Fiona Wilde on Guitar, Lala on Bass, Zuzu (Tanya) Keys on Drums, and Nicky Kemp on Vocals. Violette have just recorded their debut EP 'Turn the Tide', which is available now. The music showcased on Turn the Tide speaks volumes about where these girls are headed and how they plan on getting there – in true rock style.
