Purveying a dynamic fusion of jazz and progressive rock, Perth-based band Vissac creates an experience which restores the excitement and relevance of instrumental music to a modern audience. In 2020, the band supported gospel powerhouse Danielle Ponder (US) and released their debut single Midas, which premiered on FBi Radio Sydney. Presenter Joe Khan said "Midas paints this really rich, almost neon soundscape which drifts you along at one point and swirls you around at another... There's clearly a strong sense of curiosity from Vissac and it's really refreshing to see emotion canvased in such a gorgeous way." Vissac’s 2021 follow-up single Nitro received airplay across the country. Happy Mag wrote “[Vissac] wield instrumental and improvisational skill to invite, then trap the listener in an up-tempo sonic haven.”
