Vital Cycle is the experimental synthwave-style pop project by solo artist Harley Hopkins that incorporates the heavy use of synthesiser sounds into their sound. The music project based in Melbourne started at the commencement of the 2021 new year and is an ongoing project. The debut album titled 'Stellar Spectra' consists of eight unique tracks titled accordingly to the emotion and 'vibe' in which was felt at the time of recording. 'Insufficient Space' is the second album recorded and similarly consists of eight tracks that each reflect in a different way what is described as "life's temporal 'finity'". The project's first EP release titled 'Forecast '23' includes themes of prognostication and wonder - the foretelling of future events in the year 2023 mixed with feelings of astonishment. The single titled 'Rocking the World', places emphasis on artists who achieve great things but are left largely unheard. Recently, the project has placed emphasis on its new 3-track single titled, 'Everybody Needs An Open Mind' which expands the horizon even further when it comes to the magic of the synthesiser in the modern age.
