As a highly tuned Hip-Hop lyricist with an intense delivery that would make believers of the genre's purists, VITAL Emcee pulls no punches being an openly gay man navigating through the homophobia and misogyny inherent within the current musical mainstream. To tune into VITAL is to sit ringside at a boxing match between 2Pac and Eminem with Elton John as the referee. His listeners become blindsided by a punch full of the unlikely influences VITAL takes as inspiration. With his next project set to drop in September 2014, aptly titled "F.A.G: the Mixtape," VITAL puts a mirror up to the Hip-Hop community while cementing his spot amongst his contemporaries, proving that one should never judge books by their covers.
