The Volty Strings are one of the best original music making bands in Brisbane. Since their highly applauded debut performance in July 2006, they have rocked local venues and hot spots with their head-turning music. They will now be launching their first single through iTunes Australia as part of a $10,000 prize package won recently in Brisbane’s Live and Unsigned competition. They've been called everything from Rock to Alternative to Funk. It’s their own original creative ideas, as well as musical influences from a wide range of unlikely genres, which have developed The Volty Strings into a Music-Making Machine in a league of its own.
