VULI is a producer, songwriter, Saxophonist and designer based in inner west Sydney. VULIs sound blends a range of his musical influences -Bringing organic Afro rhythms; Bass heavy beats and electronic production with a soulful twist together to create a distinctly international sound. VULI has released music and toured with his band True Vibenation around Australia and internationally, including a recent tour through southern Africa. His production credits include two songs swept up on high rotation on Triple J, support for high profile international artists such as Dead prez, The Antibalas afrobeat orchestra, J5 and Kurtis Blow as well as credits spanning multiple albums distributed and released in Australia and around the world. Accompanying each VULI tune is also a wearable ‘Visual beat pattern’ that can be read from left to right like a musical sheet.
