Inspired by beauty. It is our nisus to bring beauty into the forefront. No one cares about you, your background, or the 'meaning' behind your "work". No one needs to care about you. It doesn't need to be documented. It doesn't need to be broadcast bluntly like pearls before swine. You're an artist, devil take you: you mar the meaning of the word every time you "explain" your "art". Art requires no such instruction manual. Art is not to be thought as mass-produced garbage; a cheap piece of ideological furniture upon which your average brain-dead triple J listener rests their lazy mind. Art affects our sensibility directly, it melts past intuition, and it subverts reason. Art resides deep within the listener's spirit; he identifies a piece of himself hidden within a piece of someone else. A shared moment. The postmodern rigmarole of "artist biographies" hides blatant narcissism about as well as a paper bag hides crippling alcoholism. No one cares; give people something that matters.
