Wandering Blind are two friends who serve up a mix of the innocent 2000’s alternative sound with the bite of 70’s Post Punk and Madchester. Solid guitar and drum interplay, driving synths and glistening yet gruff vocal delivery have resulted in comparisons to New Order, Arctic Monkeys and the UK’s Crank Wave scene. Their new single ‘Running’ showcases Wandering Blind’s continued endeavours to grow and improve. Offering an equally sardonic and sympathetic view of a couple who are stuck in a vicious cycle, the music twists and turns around a common refrain. Even during a tempo change and key change, where a positive future is envisioned, they remain trapped in the spiral.
