After spending years writing songs as a hobby, I put in a big effort to get a selection mixed and produced to a professional level. Fortunately, I work with a song-writing mentor, who can critique my work. With that, I selected 12 songs for my first album, "Wrong End Of The Dial", mastered them and now I'm trying to market them.I consider myself to be a studio artist, like a painter, where sound is my paint. However, I'm not a performer, but I do work with a local musician in Adelaide, who mentors me and critiques my songs through the whole writing and production process.Just as I cover a diverse range of styles, I also write about contemporary topics ranging from the financial crisis, through big pharma to Fifty Shades of Grey. I can be followed on twitter under WayneDePain and my first video is out on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPnXGTXTc0I for my song, "I Hate The Banks".
