Matt and Mandy first met while camping on the beach in the summer. She was singing songs and selling make-up. He too was singing songs, and reading theology. So after talking, they kind of felt that they had enough in common to form a band. After all, Matt had some unused studio time, Mandy had unused songs, and they both liked to sing harmony. So they decided to write, record and play. In this ultimately happy accident, neither Matt nor Mandy were really certain of what they were doing. Somedays she would write a line, and he would write on the desk. He would break into song, and she would break a string. But most of the time, there was musical chemistry more opulent than anything found on the periodic table. They would sing songs together and apart. They would finish one another’s lines.
